The AutoVOTS don't have to be the only game in town for Ultimate Frisbee in the Phoenix area. Some desire a more casual (still competitive), freewheeling game. Enter the DISCepticons.
We form a loose union of pickup frisbee games around the valley, representing all skill levels and a wide range of play styles. This site aims to maintain a mutually beneficial arrangement between DISCepticons and its member games, with the dual goals of a wide base of informed players to pull from (so every game may have enough), and a schedule presenting many opportunities for people to fit some Ultimate frisbee into their busy weeks.
One can find a pickup game of soccer or basketball on just about any field/court (respectively, usu.) on any given night of the week. Our dream is for Ultimate frisbee to become the same way (on fields, preferably), and the Web is a great tool to accomplish that (I hear it's gone World-Wide). Spread the word and the game until sites like this won't even be needed anymore (so I don't have to maintain this one).
So here's a schedule of weekly "underground*" games, open for anyone to join in and play.
